Our story
Welcome to OldTimekeeper!
My name is Zyad, I’m 25, and OldTimekeeper is my little small business taking its first steps toward becoming something much bigger. HOPEFULLY 🤞
For now, OldTimekeeper is proudly owned, operated, and run by one person — me. Because of that, creating a personal experience for every customer means a lot to me. You’re not just shopping with a company; you’re connecting directly with the person behind it.
My love for watches started over 10 years ago. Back then, I never imagined that something I was simply passionate about would eventually become what I do full-time.
A couple of years ago, I started selling watches part-time at flea markets and pop-up shows throughout the NY/NJ area. What started as a side hustle slowly became something I genuinely couldn’t walk away from. Eventually, I decided to take the leap and give OldTimekeeper my all.
Was I scared? Absolutely. Turning a hobby into my only source of income comes with plenty of uncertainty, but I’ve always believed that if you keep moving forward, you’ll find a way to make things work.
Over the past few months, I’ve built a pretty special relationship with the flea-market community. I’ve spent countless weekends meeting new people, hearing stories, making connections, and — most importantly — making friendships that I hope last a lifetime. Those experiences have made every early morning, long day, and uncertain moment completely worth it.
Now, I’m taking the next step: OldTimekeeper’s very own website. Here, I’ll be showcasing as much of my collection as possible and making it easier for you to explore what I have available, wherever you are.
And don’t worry — I’m not leaving the flea markets just yet! I enjoy them way too much lol. I’ll continue popping up around the NY/NJ area, so keep an eye on my Instagram bio for where I’ll be next.
Whether you’ve bought a watch from me, stopped by my table to say hello, followed along online, or simply took the time to read this — thank you. Seriously.
This is still the beginning, and I’m incredibly grateful you’re here for it.
See you around,
Zyad
